I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post on the "not-so-social" media. I can only imagine how amusing your "social" posts must be!
I agree with your thoughts on the difficulty with separating one's professional and personal life within social media. As mentioned by professor Rob Power, it seems as though creating separate accounts or being careful about who each post is made visible to is the best way to go. Yes, it takes more time and thought, but at least it enables you to still be yourself within various professional and social realms!
According to Carl Jung, it is natural for individuals to have various "personas": The social faces we present to the world according to the particular circumstance we are in. With online social media, there is now an additional platform in which we must consider how we present ourselves.
